Privacy Policy - Doomer Block Match
This Privacy Policy explains how FinFM ("we", "us") handles information for Doomer Block Match, including the web version at finfm.org and mobile versions distributed through app stores.
Information we collect
We try to keep data collection limited to what is needed to run, improve, and support the game. Depending on the platform and build, we may collect or receive:
- Gameplay and app activity: game mode, level or mission progress, scores, tutorial progress, settings, button clicks, session start, play start, and similar events.
- Technical information: app version, platform, device or browser type, operating system, language, screen size, approximate region, timestamps, diagnostics, and crash or performance data when available.
- Web analytics data: page visits, play button clicks, referral and campaign parameters such as
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content, and a session ID stored insessionStorage. - Advertising data: when ads are enabled, advertising partners may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics to show ads, prevent fraud, measure performance, and respect consent choices.
- Purchase data: if you buy an in-app product such as a no-ads purchase, the app stores process the payment. We may receive purchase status, product ID, transaction status, and entitlement information, but we do not receive your payment card details.
- Online feature data: if leaderboards, backend saves, or similar online features are enabled, we may process player IDs, display names if provided, scores, ranks, and related gameplay metadata.
Information we do not collect directly
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address inside the game.
- We do not receive your payment card or bank account details from Apple, Google, or other stores.
- We do not use session replay or screen recording on the web version.
- We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health, biometric, or precise location data.
How we use information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To operate the game and remember local progress, settings, purchases, and entitlements.
- To understand crashes, bugs, performance issues, onboarding drop-off, and gameplay balance.
- To measure whether the web build and marketing campaigns are working.
- To show ads, reward optional ad views, limit repeated ads, prevent ad fraud, and measure ad performance.
- To provide online features such as leaderboards when those features are available.
- To respond to support, privacy, or deletion requests.
Legal bases
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on consent for personalized ads and similar choices, performance of a contract to provide the game and purchases, legitimate interests to secure and improve the game, and legal obligations when we must keep or disclose information.
Ads and privacy choices
The game may show banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are optional and are shown only when you choose to watch them for an in-game reward.
Where required, we use a consent or privacy choices flow to ask for your advertising preferences before requesting personalized ads. You may also be able to change ad privacy choices from the game settings, your device settings, or the store platform settings. On iOS, Apple may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt before tracking is allowed. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Google settings.
A no-ads purchase, if offered, is intended to remove forced ads such as banners or interstitials. Optional rewarded ads may remain available if you choose to watch them.
Analytics, storage, and cookies
The web version uses PostHog for explicit analytics events such as session start, play start, game loaded, tutorial progress, gameplay events, and feature usage. We configure web analytics to respect Do Not Track, disable session recording, avoid automatic click capture, and avoid creating identified person profiles unless we explicitly identify a user.
The web version does not use third-party cookies. It may use:
sessionStoragefor a temporary session ID and campaign parameters, cleared when you close the tab.localStoragefor an anonymous returning-browser identifier and analytics queue managed by PostHog.- Browser storage used by Unity WebGL for game data and settings.
Service providers
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the game. These providers process information under their own policies and platform rules. Depending on the platform and build, providers may include:
- Cloudflare Pages for website hosting.
- PostHog for web analytics.
- Apple App Store, Google Play, or other stores for distribution, purchases, reviews, and platform services.
- Advertising and mediation partners such as Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads, AppLovin MAX, Playgama, or other ad networks if enabled for a specific build.
- Backend and leaderboard providers such as PlayFab or equivalent services if online features are enabled.
Retention
Local save data remains on your device or in your browser until you delete the app, clear browser storage, or reset game data. Analytics and backend records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required for fraud prevention, security, accounting, legal obligations, or dispute handling.
Your choices
- You can clear site data for
finfm.orgin your browser settings to reset web identifiers and local game data. - You can use your device settings to limit ad tracking, reset advertising identifiers, or manage app tracking permissions.
