Privacy Notice — Doomer Block Match
This page describes what data doomerblockmatch.pages.dev collects when you visit and play. This is an early web validation build of an indie puzzle game made by DOM Suviazi. Plain English; not legal advice.
What we collect
When you visit this page or play the game in your browser, we record anonymous interaction data:
- Page visits, button clicks, and gameplay events (Survival, Work missions, FTUE tutorial, leaderboard, floor customize)
- Timestamps and coarse technical info (browser type, OS family, screen size — no device fingerprinting)
- UTM parameters from the link you arrived through (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content, hook tag) - A randomly generated session ID stored in your browser's
sessionStorage(cleared when you close the tab) - A persistent anonymous identifier stored in
localStorageby our analytics provider, used to recognize a returning browser across sessions
What we do NOT collect
- Names, emails, phone numbers, or any directly identifying info (we never ask for any)
- Long-term IP address records — IP is processed transiently by our analytics provider for region inference and dropped, not retained against your record
- Cross-site tracking, ad-network identifiers, browser fingerprints
- Session recordings or screen captures of your gameplay
- Anything about you when you are not on this page
Why we collect this
This is an early validation build. We use the data to understand:
- Whether the first minute of the game makes sense to new players
- Whether Survival mode is fun enough to replay
- Whether the working title and visuals attract or confuse
- Where players drop off in the tutorial
This helps decide what to improve before a wider release.
Where the data lives
We use PostHog Cloud (EU region) as our analytics processor. Data is stored on their EU infrastructure. Their privacy policy: posthog.com/privacy.
Your choices
- If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honor it and skip analytics for your visit.
- You can clear site data for
doomerblockmatch.pages.devin your browser settings to reset your anonymous identifier. - You can ask us to delete any data associated with your visit by emailing the address below with approximate details (visit date, browser, region) — we'll do best-effort matching against the analytics record.
Cookies and storage
We don't use third-party cookies. We use:
sessionStorage— session ID, captured UTM dimensions; auto-cleared when you close the tablocalStorage— anonymous returning-visitor ID and analytics event queue, managed by PostHog
Disabling these in your browser will not break the page or the game; our analytics will simply treat you as a fresh visitor on each load.
